Tony Bone
Tony has been a fully qualified auto electrician since 1980. He established Elite Auto Electronics Ltd in 1990 due to the high demand for advanced technical repairs. Tony specialises in highly complex electrical and electronic repairs, including control units and instrument clusters. He is well respected in the industry and a pioneer in the repair of electronic vehicles in New Zealand. Tony’s foresight into the needs of the industry results in Elite consistently investing in the best equipment and scanners. Therefore, we are able to offer a very comprehensive and detailed level of service that excels in providing solutions to problems others cannot fix.
David Clarke
David is the workshop manager here at Elite, and he has had a lifelong interest in the motor vehicle industry. He joined the team with a lot of experience and has since continued to up-skill and gain deeper knowledge with a great variety of auto electrical work. His work covers almost all makes and models of vehicles, and he has particular expertise in European and Classic cars. He has excellent attention to detail, both in terms of his work on and respect of customer’s vehicles, treating them as he would his own. He is an avid mountain biker, and most weekends, he can be found on one of the many Port Hills bike trails or walking his dogs, Gary and Elvis.
Matt Phillips
Matt is the newest member of our team. His ability with problem solving and fault finding is a great addition, along with his interest in new evolving technology.
Matt spends his spare time either restoring a Fiat Bambina, playing drums or catching the waves at Sumner beach.
